Gameplay
Gamers take control of a Delta Force Black Ops squad. They are sent on a mission by Black Ops. The player plays as a member of the squad. The squad has access to several different vehicles, all named after cars.
Cars
Campaign
The game's storyline is similar to the campaign of the first game. The campaign plays out on a global scale. The story revolves around the invasion of a major city, which was chosen by the player. The mission is to liberate the city from the attacking enemy. The story is detailed with cinematics and cut-scenes. The player can change between all missions. The player can re-play missions, missions from previous eras, and missions that were cancelled. The game is fast-paced, with a set of three difficulties: easy, normal, and hard. It is designed to be a shooter from the start, and does not have many RPG elements.
Multiplayer
Multiplayer mode gives access to the co-op mode. There are 10 co-op missions available for two players to play simultaneously. All levels can be accessed from the game menu. In the co-op mode, players are split into two squads. Players have access to their own campaign. Multiplayer mode can be accessed from the game menu. Players can set the difficulty level. Players can leave the game anytime they want. The multiplayer mode gives access to the following modes:

The game has an online ranking system. The user's ranking is based on their score, deaths, and points gained. There is also a weekly ranking. Users can be ranked by their friends. The user can change the leaderboard visibility.
Reception
Delta Force: Task Force Dagger received generally positive reviews. As of April 2011, it holds a score of 82 on Metacritic, based on nine reviews.
